Our end-of-life doula certification program includes everything that you need to run a death doula business.
Doula Considerations: From First Visit Through Death
This class includes what it takes to get grounded from your first visit through after death as a death doula in private practice. We will go over everything from your own grounding, establishing connection from first visit on, processes, payment, closure; all of it. You will know the flow by the end of the workshop and you will know what you will need to do for yourself, where you are great, and where you need some work.
Personal End-of-Life Plan: The CareDoula Approach
This class is everything you would expect about what's most important and more. We need to do our own end-of-life planning, especially if we want to help others with theirs. We must have our bases completely covered! When we think about getting our affairs in order, it can sometimes be confusing. We may feel we have incomplete information as we are getting it from so many sources. So much is spoken about it and what's most important gets lost for many. Deanna outlines all the essential pieces for your own planning and gives you some excellent resources to further dive into. She answers the questions, "What really is important?" "What should I do now?" "Are there things I haven’t thought of?"
Reducing Suffering During Advanced Illness
This class deeply explores the 3 main aspects of reducing suffering and bringing peace during this time period (before hospice entry). There is so much misunderstanding about what can be most helpful here and there is not much clear guidance, as this time period of "advanced illness" (and what this means) is the murkiest of all! This is the time period when so much needless suffering occurs.

Best 3 Things to Know When Someone You Know is Dying
