Working in health care is no doubt one of the most stressful jobs on the planet. But it is not the work itself so much that burns out staff; that is the myth. The truth is, as long as the worker is connected to the joy of their service, perceives their managers as supporting them, and are reinforced in self-care, the tendency towards compassion fatigue is minimized.

This is not a simple matter. Management and the staff both have a part to play. 

To bring back the joy of this work and to reconnect your staff with the true reasons they chose this path, Deanna engages with you and your team for day-long nourishing retreats to remind them of who they are under the demands of their work schedule.

​She also engages with management to give specific suggestions on what to implement for the best outcome with staff, based on her time with the retreatants. It is a true win-win.
