End-of-life doula certificate program

At our CareDoula School of Accompanying the Dying, our program is a comprehensive and innovative way to learn, integrate, and develop what you have been called to do. Our End-of-Life Doula Certificate Program is the first one created and has been the model since the beginning. We continue to lead this grassroots movement by example with our in-depth lifetime coaching and training.

​Whether you want to serve as the 'go to' person among your circle of family and friends, as a volunteer or advocate, or in private practice-- we will give you the tools you need to serve beautifully and skillfully, care for yourself and develop your professional practice. If you want something more in depth than a weekend workshop or a few months of focus, and you want support as you grow and develop over time, then our program is for you. We are in it with you for the long haul. 

​This is a highly personal, intense, and interactive experience. Your Certificate upon completion of the program means you have worked with me in my processes of grounding you into the work of 'one who accompanies'. This is a life long journey; I have been a practicing end of life doula myself for several years, as well as a hospice RN, certified in Hospice and Palliative Care since 2000, serving hundreds of families over the years.

The sacred journey of 'one who accompanies another through dying' is not one anyone should do alone. In hospice we do it as a team, and in our realm, it should be the same. I create this environment in our School. 

Each person I have worked with expresses their vision in a different way; that is the way it should be, unique to each person's talents and experiences as we are more of a unique companion (non-medical) than anything else. Each of us has special skills and gifts that will bless others in their own unique way.
